I had a chance to stop by the Park City Farmer's Market again this past Wednesday for it's second week of the season. Unfortunately, the weather in Park City this past week has been nothing but rain. I was only able to get to a couple of the vendors this time before I had to run back to the car. We're keeping our fingers crossed for clear blue skies for next week's Farmer's Market!
The first stop this week was Chad's Produce. Chad has been growing No Spray gardens for over 10 years now, and has a wonderful variety of fresh greens and salads available every week. If you have any questions for Chad you can Email him at chadsproduce@gmail.com. I've been eating the mix salad for lunch these last two days -and it is absolutely amazing -so good. I'll be stopping by every week to get my greens here now.

My next and final stop before the rain started pouring was at Weeks Berries of Paradise display. Weeks Berries specializes in Raspberries, Blueberries, Currants, Blackberries, Strawberries, and Gooseberries. You can buy their berry plants at the Farmer's Markets and they will have more variety in future market events in Park City. They make a large variety of products from their fruit, including: Freezer jam, Juices, Syrups, Bottled Jams, and Gift Packs.
Purchase Locations other than Park City Farmers Market: At the farm, Pioneer Park Farmers Market, Old Grist Mill (Ogden & Logan) Macey’s, Dan's, Dick's, Lee’s Marketplace, Cox Honey, Coppermill Restaurant, Emigration Market. (1300 S. 1700 E., SLC), Hyde Park IFA.

Well unfortunately that is all I could get to this week with the weather, I'll be out there next week to get to the remaining displays. Also, I have spoken with other people in regards to the comments that there are not enough farmers at the Farmers Market -and as the season progresses and different things come into season -more farmers will come out and the market will be a lot bigger -can't wait for that as well and look forward to it.
