Park City Farmer's Market Opening Day

ParkCityWeek.com's Webmaster checking in here -today was the Park City Farmer's Market opening day! I had the chance to stop by and check out a few of the vendors. Pretty amazing stuff, I have to say -I was very impressed with all of the different businesses and display setups.

If you didn't get a chance to make it out today, no worries -the Park City Farmer's market will be held each Wednesday!

Local BBQ sensation Spencer's Smokin' Grill is on display with their delicious BBQ items.

You can also grab some of Spencer's awesome BBQ at their Prospector Square location.

Volker's Bakery had an amazing display of breads. They have an awesome variety of breads: Jewish Rye, Multi-Grain, German Rye, Lemon Sage, Asiago Basil and many many more! They are located in Kamas but will be at the Park City Farmer's market every Wednesday!

This was the display stand for Knight Family Honey. This company has over 200 bee colonies which are located throughout Utah where there are pumpkins, rasberries, alfalfa fields and russian olive trees. Knight Family Honey also produces a very popular Honey Butter which I did try -delicious!

Did you know that taking about 1/2 teaspoon of raw locally grown honey can help with your allergies? A fantastic reason to support your local farmer's market.

This is as close to the SugarBear stand as I would get, next week when I'm off my cleanse I'll get busy with all the food stands! These guys make kettlekorn and cinnamon roasted nuts and you can find them at the Park City and Heber's Farmer's Market, also at the Davis Fair, Jazz Festival, and Pride Day events.

The Prickly Rock Honey Co. has an awesome display. They are a family-owned -and-operated business nestled in the quite mountain valley of Wallsburg, utah. Owner Greg Christensen's wife designed the different labels on the bottles.

The Park City Farmer's Market has something for everyone, great food, great shopping, support your local growers! The market will be held every Wednesday from 12pm-7pm in The Canyons Resort (in the Cabriolet Parking Lot -parking is FREE). Come check it out -you'll be glad you did!
